Fantastic coffee shop, serving homemade cakes & lunches. Super stylish, friendly & great quality. They do evening events sometimes, worth following on Facebook. Also highly recommended is Love From Marjorie near the harbour (opposite Blacksands), another great coffee shop with a good vibe. They offer wonderful, and very popular, evening foodie events.

This is such a friendly restaurant. The owners can't do enough to make you feel at home. Really good pizza, pasta & other dishes, good cocktails. We've gone as a family & all really enjoyed it.

I love the Ilfracombe Yacht club... it's quite old fashioned, right on the harbour, but has an old salty seadog feel about it. Good for a drink or two.

Quiet country pub, right by the sea in peaceful Lee. Walk here from The Quarry, its only a half hour stroll over the cliffs. I recommend a taxi back!

Barricane is a hidden sandy beach in Woolacombe. The beach cafe serves good homemade cakes & tea in china mugs during the day, but at night it serves Sri Lankan curries on the beach. Take a rug, and your own wine, sit on the beach watching the sunset. No bookings, only in good weather.

Barricane is a hidden sandy beach in Woolacombe. The beach cafe serves good homemade cakes & tea in china mugs during the day, but at night it serves Sri Lankan curries on the beach. Take a rug, and your own wine, sit on the beach watching the sunset. No bookings, only in good weather.

You can't come to the British seaside & not eat fish & chips! In our opinion these are the best in Ilfracombe. Eat in or take out. If you're eating on the Harbour Wall remember the seagulls are very adept at stealing your supper....

These are the BEST fish chips ever! Just at the end of our road is the wonderful Tunnels Beaches. The Victorians carved through the cliffs to reach the beach beyond. Here they created tidal bathing pools still in use today. Run by a super stylish young couple the beach & pools are a great place to hang out for a day. So interesting.
