In my top 2 for best sushi restaurants in Santa Barbara. It’s in Montecito, which is the wealthy, upscale part of Santa Barbara about 4 miles from the house. No scenic views but great sushi. About 1.5 miles from the house.

My #3 ranked sushi spot in Santa Barbara. Food quality is up there with Arigato and Sakana, but Oku is right across the street from the beach, and in the funk zone with a lot of hip places that usually only locals know about. Can’t beat the location and views (especially if you get a table on the second floor outdoor balcony) of this place.

One of my favorite high end restaurants located in the heart of the funk zone. American artisanal type food that uses seasonal and locally grown ingredients. There’s also a cocktail lounge off the beaten path behind it that most people don’t know about with craft cocktails. The price and quality of the cocktails aren’t the greatest in my opinion, but a cool/fun environment.

There’s also a cocktail lounge off the beaten path behind it that most people don’t know about with craft cocktails. The price and quality of the cocktails aren’t the greatest in my opinion, but a cool/fun environment.

One of the top steakhouses in Santa Barbara and my personal favorite, located in lower state. I’m a big ribeye guy, but I get their filet, which is amazing. I NEVER put sauces on my steak, and the filet is mouth watering, but they have a rosemary blue cheese sauce that you can get on the side that is amazing. Their ribeye isn’t quite up to my standards here, so I always go with the filet.

If you’re Vegan, this is hands down the best restaurant in town for you. It’s located in montecito and a little pricey. I’m not vegan but I thought the food was great.

One of the best located restaurants in Santa Barbara. Just over the hill from the house and on the beach, great place for, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a sunset cocktail. I’m actually not a fan of their food but it’s an amazing location. If you have a beach day at hendry’s beach you can even walk up to their bar and order a drink.

Best spot to rent specialty cycles, bicycles, electric bikes, as well as other beach rentals. Owned locally by a friend of mine so I’m able to get guests discount codes. Since Santa Barbara is so small, it’s my main method of transportation with everything a mile or two away from the house. Such a fun and better way to see Santa Barbara.

You have to walk down 240 steps to get down, but it’s a beautiful beach with the hillside behind you. Only one good place to swim to the left of the surf break, as it can be rocky everywhere else. Beautiful walk either way along the beach.
Great, safe, and big beach. No rip tides or waves. Nice sand and where most tourists go to lounge. Plenty of volleyball nets if you want to get a game going.
