Best kids theater by far in the Triangle area. Great museum for any area. About 80 acres of space. Outside there are black bear and wolf and lemur habitats where the animals are readily viewable. There are outdoor play areas and great, engaging areas inside for kids. They have a reciprocity agreement with a number of children's museums in region/across US so if you belong to children's museum where you live you may be able to get free entrance here (ask).
