Our home is situated in Kaikorai Valley with rural views. We have hosted many homestay students and back packers over the years. The cabin has no kitchen but does have a fridge, electric jug, toaster and microwave. We are motorbike friendly and can find a place to park your bike in the shed. BUT please note our driveway is very steep and even if you drive up there are 11 concrete steps and later 10 wooden steps to the cabin. The rural views, however, make the climb worth it.
Close to airport and gateway to Central Otago or Southern Scenic Route, Lake Waihola is the perfect destination. Relax by the lake, explore the Sinclair Wetlands or take the Millennium track to Taieri Mouth during the day. Then sit back and watch the sun go down over the lake in the evening - it doesn't get better than this. We would love to share this with you.
Enjoy your complimentary continental breakfast or a cupa in your own private sunny courtyard surrounded by native plants and the odd croaking frog. Around a five minute walk to St Kilda beach, two bus stops, supermarket, petrol station, and many takeaways.....depending on how long your legs are and how fast you walk.... and takes around 10 minutes to drive to the Octagon, which is the centre of the city, depending on the time of day.
