So, this is a cafeteria style restaurant which might put you off --- but don't be fooled! It is a fabulous little restaurant in the heart of the city, located in the Vancouver Art Gallery, and with the bestest outdoor deck anywhere! Most Vancouverites don't know about it.

A surprisingly well-kept secret even among Vancouverites, the patio at the Art Gallery Cafe is a fantastic place to enjoy a light lunch, beer, or glass of wine on a sunny afternoon while exploring downtown Vancouver. Very reasonably priced! You can get anything from a coffee to a decent lunch, or just a glass of wine. Located on the south facing steps of the Art Gallery overlooking the pedestrian area of Robson Square, many people do not know this little oasis of sun and relaxation is there! This is a sunny day destination ONLY.

Best open air terrace and brunches in the city! Find a good day and sit outside beside the gallery watching Robson square go by.. Best concentration of food trucks in the city!
