Shakespeare under tents at Vanier Park every summer - about a 30 minute walk. Even if you don't a lot about the plays, its a fun evening.

Bard on the Beach has great plays all summer. Make reservations as soon as you can. This is a short hop by ferry across False Creek. Parking is good too nearby but limited.
