The new operahouse in Oslo is already famous for it`s architecture. The building is very special and in front of the water in the new barcode area in Oslo. You can even walk the building on the roof to get better view. This is a must see on your stay in Oslo.

The Famous Opera House, another wonderful must-see tourist attraction in Oslo. Located downtown, it's only a short walk away. Built almost entirely by massive Italian white marble, it's beautiful on both inside and outside. The building's design allows people to walk straight up on the roof, which I…

You can´t miss it. Does not really matter if you are into opera / ballet or not. Designed by Norwegian design/architect group Snøhetta, the building itself needs to be seen. Just walk along the waterfront, have a glass of white at the terrace, visit the roof for an amazing view, or book a guided…

See an opera, go inside and just visit the cafe or wine bar to enjoy the interior design.

“Incredible view into how the Vikings migrated and moved around the arctic waters. To understand most of the other history I would suggest starting here.”

Palace
“What is it? The royal residence at the top of Karl Johans gate, home to HM King Harald V and HM Queen Sonja. The Royal Palace Park surrounds the palace on all sides and features grassy areas, majestic trees, small ponds and statues. Why go? Although the palace is open to the public only during 22 June until 25 August and all visitors must follow a guided tour, the impressive building at the end of Karl Johans street is worth a look. The grounds and gardens are free for visitors to wander around and for the regular changing of the guard every day at 1.30 pm.”

“Part of the Sentrum area, Aker Brygge is known for its pier, where eateries with outdoor tables serve upscale Nordic and French cuisine, or casual fare like burgers and steak. A popular summer boat bar is moored nearby, and ferries depart year-round for the scenic Oslo Fjord. Local cultural draws include the Nobel Peace Center, with exhibits on the famous prize, and the striking Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. Also a good place for some shopping.”
