completely rebuilt in 2020. $6 to fish per person. Free for sightseeing. There is a bait and tackle shop at the foot of the pier as well. You can rent a bucket and rod for about $25 bucks if you don’t have your own gear. Hands down best pier in south Florida (better than Deerfield, Lauderdale, etc)

• Golden sands, excellent facilities, abundant parking. A Certified Blue Wave Beach by the Clean Beaches Council. • Lots of access to parks, recreation and outdoor activities. • Dining options abound. From upscale to “hole in the wall” hidden gems with cuisine choices to please everyone. • A growing brewhouse/cidery community with worth the visit experiences. • Access to the water – fishing, diving, boating, swimming. It’s all here! • Pompano Beach Municipal Pier – 850 feet extending over the sea for great fishing and scenery.

Beautiful beach, approximately 20 minutes east, with children's splash pad, yoga on Sunday mornings, Beach house restaurant, playground with workout circuit, ice cream parlors, Irish pubs, etc. (my favorite place).
