Oak Lawn park is the first public park in North Dallas, developed in 1903. There is good history that you can read online if you like history of greenbelts and urbanism. The spot I would like to highlight is the parkway, a little bit neglected but really nice to walk along the creek from Turtle…

One of my favorite parks to take pups and great starting point for Turtle Creek Trail & Katy Trail walks.

“It's got a good menu for pretty much whatever you want, but our favorite is their sushi (Especially the "picasso roll"). Also, their edamame comes with an "angry sauce" that is delicious. Ask for it on the side the first time. It's pretty spicy.”
