I grew up near here. Fabulous walks by the River Trent and the lakes created from dredging for sand. A birdwatchers paradise and one of the places on the planet that is most special for me.

Attenborough Nature Reserve is perfect for a walk, bike ride or just to feed the ducks/geese/swans and to have a cup of tea and cake in the nature centre! It is very easy to walk Attenborough Nature Reserve by going through one of the many entrances to the nature reserve at the end of Church Lane, Attenborough.
