This is one of two pubs in Little Stretton which have been recommended to us by locals and our guests. They have the advantage of being located near the end of the walk off the Long Mynd leading out of Ashes Hollow. Some of our guests enjoy walking from the lodge over to one of the pubs and back. Others prefer to drive to the Shooting Box car park just above us and walk from there. Always check the opening times or ring to book a table as our local pubs sometimes close on a Monday.

A lovely little village pub, with fantastic food and a nice atmosphere. It's a 5 minute drive down to Little Stretton, or around 40 minutes walk along country lanes.
