Located behind the Denny's off of the 89 highway and along the Scenic View Rd, the overlook gives a great view of the face of the Glen Canyon Dam and the river below. Be aware that there is a trek up and own to the overlook. There are rocks with sand, so shoes with good traction are recommended.

This is a somewhat secret (usually several families but not nearly as much as Horseshoe Bend or Antelope Canyon) viewpoint of Glen Canyon and the Glen Canyon Dam. This lookout is frequented by locals! It also offers something special: if you want to explore at night, you can here! The lookout shows the entire dam, which is brightly lit, so it definitely provides special views. Just be careful of the edge! There's a small wall but it's always good to be aware.
