A beautiful stretch of beach, close to Sweetwater cottage. Many kilometers long and you often have it to yourself.

Our local quiet beach. Head to Mooball, turn left and take the sign for Wooyung. It’s out in the country. You can take a walk to the right and head to New Brighton. It’s a good 6 km walk. Once there treat yourself to a cafe lunch. Or just lie on the beach at Wooyung, in privacy.

This beach is spectacular and only 15 minutes away. Dogs allowed - in fact you’ll likely be the only people on the beach anyway. Do beware though it’s not a swimming beach. Popular with surfers it has strong undertow and frequent rips.
