About an hour from Hancock with an easy mile hike in to spectacular oceanside cliffs. Well worth it to fit in with a trip to Machias, Lubec Eastport. Too bad there's not a pic but there should be on the web site.

The Cutler Coast Trail is very popular in this area! It is the busiest trail system in our area, especially on weekends. Consider visiting outside of peak periods or plan to arrive early to the parking lot to get a spot. The coastal portion of the property has hiking trips from 3-10 miles. You’ll walked through a forested path for about one mile before reaching the ocean overlook. Then continue along the wooded trails, open meadows, and rocky cliffside paths to reach Fairy Head. Amazing views throughout the entire hike!

This area has several trails. The shortest is a loop that takes you through cedar woods and out to a promontory overlooking the Atlantic - quite dramatic. The route takes you across a couple of beaches and up some slopes. Not a hard hike but requires some ability to walk rough terrain.
