Home & workshop of the Plantin printers. This unique museum has the oldest printing presses in the world (16th Century). Located at Vrijdagmarkt 22, 2000 Antwerpen. Open Tue – Sun 10:00 – 17:00.
my favourite museum in the city, the original 16th century house of Christopher Plantin (who ran one of the most important printing press businesses in his day). Absolutely worth a visit.
UNESCO world heritage site. Former house of Christophe Plantin and the Moretus family talking about the pioneering publisher and book binding family from 1550. They used to print the books for King Philipe II of Spain.
Walk inside the printing office and house of the Plantin-Moretus family as if you were a friend of theirs visiting 400 years ago.

“As stunning as the cathedral is from the outside, the inside is equally impressive. A master piece of Gothic architecture, that houses some of the most famous paintings of Rubens in the world.”
