THE best Indian restaurant this side of Brick Lane! Serious! I recommend the Chicken Rogon Josh and the onion bahjis! really friendly staff too.

If Indian is more to your taste, this is a Milsons Point institution (famously patronised by Prime Minister John Howard when he lived down the road). The decor is a little dated but the food is great.
