This is a modern restaurant with beautiful banquettes, marble tabletops, and a French-Senegalese menu. Don’t miss lamb shank roasted with merguez sausage and served with couscous and onion sauce. The niokolo-koba leans more West African, with sirloin steak marinated in Senegalese seasoning and topped with a peppercorn and cognac sauce. On the weekend they combine the usual brunch dishes with West African flare. I order the eggs benedict with a side of earthy, sweet plantains.
