Lyme's ancient harbour dating back to the 14th Century. Once a significant port but now the place to find fishing trips, a cute aquarium and if you're lucky to spot a seal or dolphin!

The Cobb at Lyme Regis is the iconic setting for that famous scene in The French Lieutenant's Woman. The author of the book, John Fowles, lived just up the road.

You can't come to Lyme and not take a stroll along the historic Cobb... see the lifeboat, take in the vistas and the boats in the harbour and bask in the best views of Lyme seafront.

You can’t make a visit to Lyme Regis without strolling along the historic Cobb. Watch out for swell on a super low tide within the bay for good surf opportunities.
