A beautiful state park with many walking and bike trails, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. There are many picnic spots. Check out their website for equestrian shows dates! There is a beautiful creek where you can walk on the rocks, wade and splash!

(About 30 min away) If you like kayaking or paddle boarding this is the park for you. While they do have a lot of trails, and allow camping, the water activities are very exciting. Fun fact: This place has an interesting history, through out the 1940’s this now a state park used to be an army training site where recruiters learned to fire rifles, prepared and trained for warfare.

A beautiful state park right in Spartanburg’s backyard! Great for running, hiking and family adventures.

This State Park is very convenient for a nice hike. The park also offers equestrian trails and boarding.
