Vedder Park is a beautiful park for families and friends. The rotary trail is situated right beside the Vedder River, and is a great place to talk long walks while enjoying the sound of the flowing waters of the river. There are also bench seats situated along the rotary trail to allow you a moment to soak in the beauty of Chilliwack.

Drive to Vedder Park and then walk or bike the trail along the bank of the Chilliwack River all the way to Yarrow if you like long hikes, or come back the same way for a short morning or evening walk. Come early or late afternoon to avoid hot sun in the middle of the day. Watch the river as it rushes through narrows or becomes eerily calm as it widens out. Bring your fishing gear and catch some fish in the Chilliwack River (but be sure to get your fishing license if you decide to go fishing)

A short jaunt from the cabin by bike or car will take you to Vedder Park. Playgrounds for the kids, scenic trails (two on either side of the river) for biking or walking (see "Rotary Trail") and food trucks!
