An interactive museum with a focus on technology, from the historic to the modern. There’s a space shuttle that kids can pilot, and a train to jump on to see what an old steam train looked like. The museum is most famous for its Strasburg Clock model, completed in 1889, which has astronomical features and performs a light and sound show every hour. There’s a cafe at the museum and even better lunch options at Darling Harbour nearby—not to mention outdoor parks, a water park, and the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium.

A splendid museum for Science enthusiasts and those who love to interact with objects. Literally 1 minutes walk away.
The Powerhouse Museum is the major branch of the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences in Sydney, the other being the historic Sydney Observatory.
One of the best museum experiences available. The exhibits are spectacular and often very interactive. The place is a kid magnet but adults have plenty to see and do without being overrun.
Take in all that there is to see at the Powerhouse Museum. Watch your kids have fun whilst learning all sorts of fun and interesting things.
