What a brilliant place to kickback relax and enjoy the serenity of this wonderful dam. BBQs are available for your picnic, but the beauty is in the surroundings. Take some fishing gear and enjoy your "ME" time. A great open space for a walk, short or around the entire perimeter, approximately 16 kms. There are benches and tables, a lookout and toilets. We walked anti clockwise to do some bird observing and saw plenty of kangaroos. There's also a sailing club.

Tranquil setting for a picnic or a stroll near the reservoir shores, offering wonderful views across the water. There are opportunities for bush walking, bird watching, sightseeing, sailing and shoreline fishing. For the energetic, there is a 15km walk that circumnavigates the reservoir.

For those keen there is a 15km loop around the reservoir and on a clear day you can spy the city, shoreline fishing is permitted in certain spots. Spot kangaroo mobs and echidnas while walking around the reservoir.
