España obtuvo en 1968 el templo de Debod, en agradecimiento por la ayuda prestada en el salvamento de Abu Simbel. Reconstruido y abierto al público desde 1972, el templo de Debod constituye uno de los pocos testimonios arquitectónicos egipcios que pueden verse completos fuera de Egipto.

“Located on the Art Walk, the Reina Sofía houses paintings by Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Juan Gris as well as one of Spain’s most famous artworks, Picasso’s Guernica. In Room 206 you’ll find one of the museum’s highlights: Picasso’s masterpiece Guernica. Showcased by the Spanish Republican Government at the International Exposition of 1937 in Paris, the mural depicts the bombing of the old Basque city of Gernika in April 1937 and has become a lasting image of the horror of war.”

“This is a huge open green park in the center of Madrid. Locals and tourists alike walk here to relax and meet with friends.
