Turin people love the Valentino Park in all season! It's great for running, have a nice walk in the nature, picnic, sunbathe, studing, have a drink with friends. In fall season you can admire the romantic foliag. In Christmas season there are many events for childrenand families.

This park it's a little treasure, located next to the river it has a small Medieval Castle (it was built for the Expo at the beginning of the XX century) and the first Savoy Castle (XVI century). I suggest you to see the botanical garden and the funny bronze statue hidden in the park.

A walk from Vittorio square, along Po river, to Valentino is a thing to do if there is sun and you can enjoy the view.

“It was originally built in the 16th century and was later modernized by Christine Marie of France in the 17th century, with designs by the Baroque architect Filippo Juvarra. The Royal Garden, north and east of the palace, was designed in 1697 by André le Nôtre, who also created the gardens at Versailles.
