You can take a walk on the city wall and go up some of the towers which include a tower with a big watch inside. Enjoy the view over the city and lake to the mountains. Distance by bus: 15 minutes.

From April to October, enjoy the wonderful views on Lucerne and the Lake. Don't hesitate to walk up the hill and the old Tower stairs.

It is the medieval landmark of Lucerne and was built in the 13th century as a city fortification. Originally, an inner and an outer ring secured the city from enemy attacks. Today, the Musegg wall is still 870m long, about 9m high and 1.5m wide. This makes it the longest city wall preserved in one piece in Switzerland. Nine of the former 30 towers have been preserved: "Nölliturm, Männliturm, Luegisland, Wachtturm, Zytturm, Schirmerturm, Pulverturm, Allenwindenturm and Dächliturm". Its about 15 min to walk from the apartament. Adress; Schirmertorweg, 6004, Luzern
