A short and very beautiful walk to the beach from The Thatched House. Head towards the shop, up the small hill towards the pub. Opposite the pub there’s a left turn down a small road. It’s signed ‘Coastal Path’. Walk down there and at the end. Cross the road, then there’s a walk through the wooded area that brings you into the beach. (You can also drive there or catch the bus from outside Radius). The beach has a fantastic cafe called Venus which serves brunch and lunch. There are loos at the beach and a little shop selling buckets and spades and ice creams! You can barbecue on the beach after 5pm!

Nature's golden beach, set in an unspoilt, sheltered bay, lapped by clear blue water surrounded by magnificent evergreens and pines. Venue's Cafe & Beach Shop, Showers, Toilet, Seasonal Events, RNLI Lifeguards on duty during peak seasons. Dogs not permitted on the beach or in the car parks 1st May - 31st October

Beautiful sandy beach within a 40 minute drive from Torquay. Perfect for a day out. Cafe on the beach which also hire out canoes. Two large car parks. A must visit

Very wide clean beach, with rock pools and rocks to clamber over. Sample of the shingle from the beach is in a bottle in the kitchen, ample parking and a great cafe on the beachfront.

Breathtaking !!! Blackpool Sands sits in a sheltered bay near Dartmouth, South Devon. An area of outstanding natural beauty what better place to enjoy a family fun day.
