Shore Acres (in the Cape Arago Park) near Coos Bay has an unusual outcropping where the waves crash unusually high during storms. Drive 3 more miles South & you'll be able to see hundreds of Sea Lions basking & barking!

Amazing views, hiking along cliffs, sea life and tide pools. Sunset Bay also has tide pools and can swim and kayak in sheltered cove.

It's a bit of a steep trail down to either north or south cove, but the beaches won't disappoint.
