Great place to lie on the beach, paddle board and kayak on Currumbin creek which runs into the ocean. The Currumbin Creek waterway and the Alley, the entrance to the ocean, offer a protected and patrolled haven for all kinds of active water sports. There is good Flathead and Bream fishing off the rock wall or Taylor off the beach. Currumbin also has a gorgeous right-hand surf break which is a specialty for graceful longboard riders.
