Porterhouse is our go-to for an app & drink, takeout and late-night appetizer, entree, dessert, and night-cap kinda date night. My best friend Matt says they have “the best wings in Sturbridge, hands down, no one even comes close.” We like that they are committed to sourcing the highest quality, locally grown, sustainable ingredients. Their menu features starters, shared sides (ahem Truffle Mac&Cheese), entrees (and veggies) and steaks & chops. Desserts like creme brûlée, too. The menu changes frequently with their focus on seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere is modern with a rustic flair added by their one-of-a kind concrete “reclaimed wood” flooring. The bar stays open after the kitchen closes, and a comfortable piano bar, lounge, and dining area is available for private parties. There is an outdoor dining area during the summer and fall seasons, too.

Excellent steakhouse! I highly recommend their steak gorgonzola salad for a lighter lunch or the filet and au gratin potatoes for dinner.
