Amazing Quiet Beach on St. John - Sometimes gets windy but the water is perfect!

Believe me the image does this beach absolutely no justice. Have you ever been to a beach and felt like you were caught in the middle of two worlds? This is what you get from Cinnamon Bay. Upon arriving to the entrance to the beach, the energy protrudes through the woody landscapes, of the abandoned sugar mills and family tombs, along with artifacts among a few historical items that you will run into upon the Cinnamon Bay Hiking Trail. In addition to that, when you finally arrive to the shorelines of the beach, OMG. You will soon realize that you have been encapsulated between the calming soothing swells of the sandy caribbean sea and the rough and rugged waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Talk about the best of both worlds. Cinnamon Bay lengthy shoreline provides wonderful family walks, romantic sunsets, and even for the underwater afficionado like me, amazing snorkeling experiences. Cinnamon Bay is A MUST!!! Hands down.

Located off Northshore Road, Cinnamon Bay is the island’s longest beach and has its own restaurant, grocery store, campground, water sports rentals and excellent snorkeling. Cinnamon Bay is arguably the prettiest beach on St John. And it is almost like 2 separate beaches. If you walk down the entrance and turn Left, you will find a white sand beach, and crystal clear water with a white sand bottom It is like being in our own amazing swimming pool. So great for just sun bathing and swimming. If you walk down the entrance and turn Right, you will still find a white sand beach, and crystal clear water, but you will find some large rock outcroppings that make for great snorkeling. Food Service Options: YES Bathroom Facilities: YES
