A 10 minute ferry trip from Largs. Millport the island's town has a long sandy beach and bike hire - the island is 11 miles to cycle round on mainly flat roads.

Why not enjoy a day-trip on the little ferry (from Largs) to the Isle of Cumbrea. There's a lovely cafe in called the "The Round Cafe' in Millport that's definitely worth a visit. You can take the car on the wee ferry, or bikes! Driving around the island, you'll find places to stop enjoy the view…
