30 minutes away from the cottage is the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area. If you are looking for a sight-seeing adventure, discover the seven caves found in the park. These caves were formed thousands of years ago at the end of the last ice age. Make sure you are properly prepared to explore the caves. Wear sturdy shoes, clothing that you don’t mind dirtying and use a flashlight or headlamp. There are admission fees to enter the park; for day use permits it is $18 per car, $9 per walk-in adult and $5 per walk-in child. A 15 min drive - the caves are closed currently due to Covid, but the scenic trails are open all year round and lovely to walk.
