The vibe here tends to be geared towards indie rock bands. The ones that I’ve played with here have all been some of my favorite people I’ve ever worked with in Los Angeles. Each Monday night for the entire month there will be a single band doing a residency. There are usually three or four opening bands, which change each week while the headliner stays the same. And this night is free, which is super rad.

The erstwhile Spaceland in Silver Lake has begun a second act as the Satellite. this dive is still a fixture of the Eastside music community. (It helped launch the careers of Elliott Smith and Beck)
