HLG is a gem. The many gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. Lots of different walking trails to explore. There is also a conservatory with a cactus room, as well as a tropical room and an orchid room.

755-acre botanical garden features include greenhouse complex, lake, picnic area, 6-mile paved scenic drive. Thousands of labeled trees, shrubs and flowers, appealing to a great variety of interests, are on display in indoor and outdoor collections. More than five miles of marked hiking trails.
