The lovely harbour, plentiful eateries and bustling fore street shops gives Salcombe a unique atmosphere - the best place to park is Shadycombe carpark next to the Salcombe Dairy (our favourite ice cream is the Clotted Cream Honeycombe!) There is also a nearby long stay Creek carpark as can get very busy at peak times. Places to eat are plentiful - among them are: Breakfast - on a fine day you can't beat sitting on the quay side at The Wardroom or Captain Morgans - both situated at Whitestrand Car park. Also The Fortesque Arms, Victoria Inn, Sailor V (breakfast and lunch only) The Kings Arms, Dick and Wills. For takeaways you also have fish&chips, and pizza on Fore Street.

Call in for fabulous food overlooking the water or treat yourself to a cocktail from their extensive menu. Day passes and treatments are available in their beautiful spa.

For the evening the Salcombe Harbour Hotel is lovely, we’ve been there several times and the food is lovely and they are very warm and welcoming- again one to book.

A 20 minute drive and worth it! Fabulous seaside town , extremely popular in the summer. Visit for a day trip, plenty of sandy beaches, pubs and clothing shops.
