You can hire bikes and kayaks from this centre. There are 118 miles of safe cycling on the Tarka Trail which has a very local access point. The River Torridge and River Yeo are good places to kayak.

Hire a bike, trailer, tandem etc and head towards Instow or Torrington.. plenty of places to eat and drink along the way.

Explore parts of the Tarka Trail , an old train line, which runs from Barnstaple to Meeth. From Bideford you can enjoy a cycle ride to Fremington where there is a lovely cafe. Or towards Torrington where there is another cafe called The Puffing Billy.
