This is a nudist beach, but we love going there early morning for a hike and picknic when it is empty. It is an amazing 3km walk to get there.

This beach requires a bit of a drive and then a 20 minute walk to reach, but it can definitely be worth it! It's best reached from one of two parking lots in Llandudno, just follow the signs. At the end of the 20 minute walk you'll find a wide sandy beach peppered with big boulders. But be warned, this is Cape Town's only 'clothing optional' beach so if you're easily offended by nudity, it may not be for you! Avoid on windy days.

Sandy Bay is a nudist beach situated along the road between Cape Town to Cape Point and adjacent to Llandudno.
