MAMU--- NOT TO CONFUSE with the Botero, but right next to it, is the Museo de Arte Miguel Urrutia - MAMU: The museum formerly known as 'museo Banco de la República' opened a permanent exhibition of 20th century Latin American and European art in 2004 on the second floor of a three-story "white box" designed by architect Enrique Triana Urbe. Special exhibits are hosted on the third floor. In my opinion one of the best museums in town! And free! Admission is free. Mon - Sat 9 am - 7 pm Sun 10 am - 5 pm

Botero is probably Colombia's most famous artist. This is a great museum and it is free.

The Botero Museum located in Bogotá, Colombia houses one of Latin America's most important international art collections. It sees 500,000 visitors annually, around 1,000 daily.
