If you don’t go for the museum, go for the garden. A very nice and cosy retreat inside the city center. A well taken care garden to stroll around and you can also enjoy some nice views of Funchal.

This place is mostly visited for its decorative arts museum which is worthwhile , but the gardens and the trees should not be missed specially for the dragoeiros
