If you love gardens and/or historic museums this is the place for you! Great for kids.
Beautiful for a walk in all seasons, especially during spring and late fall. There is also a geological museum there with a dinosaur (not alive, unfortunately) and a newly built climate house.
These beautiful botanical gardens are a must to walk through and often have events held within them
The botanical gardens is located close to the appartment and is a great place to walk around. The cafe in the middle of the garden offers Oslos best "svele" which is a sort of norwegian pancake - a must eat!

“This is a very popular dining spot just down the road. They offer nice italian food and a outdoor dinig aerea in the evening sun. It tends to get very popular, and at weekends it can be a que to get seated. But once you are seated its a great place to take in the grunerløkka atmosphere:))”
