Built as a Church in 527 and converted into a Mosque by Fatih Sultan Mehmet the conquer after he conquered Istanbul. Impressive architecture. Worth a visit. The surrounding is amazing too. Nice garden and some good cafes around.
It is a former Eastern Orthodox church dedicated to Saints Sergius and Bacchus in Constantinople, converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire. It is built in the 6th century by Justinian I.
