It's a great little park, and there's a new building there now that is a sustainable building (straw bale construction)You can rent canoes and kayaks and bikes and skateboard equipment PLUS there is the Wattle & Daub canteen there now that had awesome burgers and ice cream!! It's supports a local non profit organization that helps with youth transportation, so it's a win win! Definitely stop there and grab a cone if you are in Bancroft!

I really liked this park-we stopped in on a drive through. It has a decent play structure (mulch ground cover), picnic tables, bathrooms, swings, skate park, access to a small River, and a canteen. Very pretty and decent shade. We were there in the evening so the businesses were closed. Worth the short walk from downtown to have your picnic here. Parking doesn't appear to be an issue-note that there is the local museum adjacent that shares the parking. Park is not fenced in so keep a watch especially due to the water access.
