There are two stores filled with cool art and objects and the vibe is eclectic avant-garde. You know immediately that they’re spaces created by very stylish, well-traveled people. I love the mix of local designers and top-drawer European and Japanese brands like Dries Van Noten and Comme Des Garcons. It’s my absolute favorite store in the city. They carry the Podolls, a local brand with a lot of nice blouses in prints and fabrics and shapes—very hip. And also DEMA, clothes that are a bit retro, colorful, and very fun and graphic.

An upscale clothing store in an unexpected location, tucked behind the Piccino restaurant. This place sells whimsical designer digs, with labels like Dries Van Noten, Junya Watanabe, and Comme des Garcons - so expect upscale prices. Great jewelry and a few creative housewares as well.
