Need to book well ahead or take a chance at the bar. Great ambiance, lots of marble and indoor plants, DJ, cocktails and great asian food.

Indulge in some fresh and hearty Southeast Asian cuisine from the menu at Bang Bang. The dark interiors of the restaurant are softened with plenty of greenery and plants that give the space a jungle-like feel. Soft lighting from overhead chandeliers also adds to the ambiance. Mouth-watering dishes include Kingfish Sashimi with coconut, kaffir lime, and mango, or Kao Soi, a coconut curry slow-cooked with chicken, mustard greens, and topped with crunchy egg noodles. Other classic options include Som Tum, Crispy Cashew Chicken, and Braised Beef Massaman. If you’re in a group or just can’t decide, The Bang-Quets are an excellent choice. There are various options, including vegetarian and pescatarian. Finally, there’s a great selection of cocktails, local beers and ciders, Australian wine, and spirits to drink. If you’re not local to Byron Bay, there is also a Bang Bang located in Noosa, Queensland.
