The Breakwall at Blacksmiths is an easy walk with wonderful views of the channel. On the way out to the breakwall you will find Grannys pools, a small bay to swim in.

Approx 10-15 mins drive. On southern end of Blacksmiths beach. As walking to breakwall, the granny pool is on the right.... an enclosed shallow pool which varies in height of water depending on the tide. Photo taken at low tide. A favourite for families with young children. Sand and water play. Breakwall found further on walk in as well. Beach on northern side.

Safe swimming, best at higher tides, can walk the break wall and also to the ocean beach.
