In this square You`ll find some nicer summer restaurants. You can either taste Norwegian food, or drink a cold beer.

One of the oldest squares in Oslo with buildings from 15th century. This is the area where Oslo was re-settled after the great fire and re-named Christiania until 1936.

“Local sushi restaurant! Great sushi, but the tempura maki is unfortunately a bit boring. Everything else though is great.”

“Rodeløkka is a great place to get a glimpse of how Oslo's lived a hundred years ago! Rescued from demolition in the 70s by architecture students (many who still live there) this area is packed with small wooden houses in all colors. Great for a stroll!”

“Museum with exhibits focusing on immigration history and cultural changes in Norwegian society. Free guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays. 12 and 14. In the museum's gallery IKM appear a variety of art and traditions. Intercultural Museum is part of Oslo Museum, which also includes City Museum at Frogner Park and Workers Museum at Sagene.”
