Redstone is a really gorgeous small town with a different climate than Paonia—they have tons of evergreens and aspens and the river runs through town. They also have hot springs you can visit at Avalanche Ranch!
Mountains and rivers flow together to create of the most mesmerizing drives you will ever experience. Small hamlets and homes situated in areas that will make you want to buy your own right away. A must-see if you truly want to experience Colorado's beauty.
Historic Redstone is a local town only a 15 minute drive from the Airbnb. There is a castle available for tours as well as the sightseeing attraction of the Coke Ovens. Downtown Redstone has a quaint feel to it and offers some good eats and antique shops. There is also a lot of climbing and hiking in the surrounding area.
Lots to do in Redstone - visit the historic Redstone Castle, visit the shops on Main St, take a hike up Coal Basin, visit Avalanche Ranch Hot Springs. Don't forget to stop at Propaganda Pie for lunch or dinner. Take in the gorgeous views of Mount Sopris on your drive to and through Carbondale.
