The Littleton Museum is a fun place to learn not only more about Littleton's rich history, but Colorado's history as well! Make sure to check out the 19th century farm exhibits, where you can meet donkeys, goats, sheep, steer, and chickens! From Littleton's website: "The Littleton Museum offers visitors a unique link between Littleton's past and present. Located on 40 acres adjacent to Ketring Lake, it encompasses three exhibition galleries, a children's interactive gallery, research center, lecture hall, and two 19th-century living history farm sites."

This is SUCH a charming little museum (free, the last time I was there), and it's a chance to see what it would've been like to live in the area during two times in history: the 1860s and the 1890s. We walk through schools, homes and farms - that are actually still being run exactly the way they were back in those days.
