It's one of the first airports in the world, featuring the first round the world flight. It's a visitor centre and conference centre hotel but the first Sunday of every month they run free guided tours!

Croydon Airport was known as "London Airport" in the golden age of aviation travel, in the Twenties and Thirties. This Art Deco building is open to the public on the first Sunday each month. We loved the informative tour through the control tower, departure hall, with so many great anecdotes about stars of the day.
