Ramsey’s, with four Lexington area diners, is a Kentucky tradition. Opened in 1989 Ramsey’s has become the home of Kentucky cooking featuring “meat and three” (choice of 13 country style entrees combined with a choice of three out of 23 fresh veggies). Ramsey’s has a full selection of sandwiches, salads and serves breakfast all day. Ramsey’s has been noted as having the best hot brown in the Bluegrass. Ramsey’s was voted best independent restaurant in Kentucky ’05 Ace Magazine, best wait staff in Lexington ’03 Ace Magazine, best happy hour ’02 Ace Magazine, best regional fare ’07 Kentucky Magazine, favorite place to “Meet for Brunch” Lexington Herald-Leader ’07 and listed as the “Place to Eat” while in Kentucky by Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine.

Country cooking. Ramsey's is a local chain. Not the best location but food and service are great. You can order take out too.

Local comfort food. Homemade pies. Lots of locally grown vegetables. 3 or 4 other Lexington locations. Popular with locals.
